While trees are important parts of the environment and chopping them down wholesale is bad, there are some situations that just necessitate cutting them down. A tree that had been planted in the wrong spot could end up as an unwanted obstruction, or one that had been diseased may need to be brought down. One may opt to hire an expert to do the work, or to save money, they may decide to do it themselves. In the case of the latter, one should know how to cut down a tree safely and efficiently.
I stepped outside again, and through the haze of sawdust, saw four hazy figures planted in lawn chairs on the opposite side of the street. I brushed off my glasses thinking I was hallucinating, but there they sat. Four grown women lined up watching the felling of a tree.
Another way to save money is to have a neighbor split the cost of delivery. Often, when you buy 8-14 yards at a time, you can waive a delivery fee altogether.
For instance, do you have a wood chipper Suppliers? Include a photo if it. This will get the customer to think about the tree limbs or brush they could use chipped. Do you have a backhoe? It may get them to think about digging up those overgrown bushes in their front yard. You will be amazed at the different requests customers come up with when they see what you can offer and they can fill out a contact form on your website.
There have been cases where another worker witnessing the event has hit the bar, but the bar failed to work. I heard of one case in which the co-worker hit the bar and it stopped the blades…but by then, the victim was already halfway through the machine…feet having gone in first, dead within seconds, his co-worker lying on top of him and crying.
After the tree limbs are ground up, the wood chips get “sprayed” into a truck through a chute. If a person is pulled through a chipper…his mulched remains get sprayed into the truck along with the wood chips. When this happened a few years ago in Colorado, the coroner referred to the remains as morselization. Being pulled into a chipper is a near-instantaneous death.
Remember to dispose of your tree properly once you take it down. Your town may have a Christmas tree pick up day. Or you can chop it up or put it through a wood chipper for mulch. If you live in a cold climate you can put it outside for a bird shelter and then burn it in the spring.
